Everything is a remix, something is always repeated from the past no matter how "original" you might think it may be. We reviewed slides depicting the evolution of designs and fonts, from cave drawings to symbols to letters to modern day text.
I thought it was interesting how one person could sit for day hours even months just to copy a book, just to have to do another after. The people back then had an scary amount of patience unlike modern day people.
Where did the people get the inspiration to create text and their letter forms? Was it something that everyone agreed upon or was it just one person that said this is how things are going to be?
